The False Dots will appear at 10pm

Tonight we have the annual Barnet Eye community awards and Xmas Party! This is the first year we've had an official awards ceremony. Please join us. It is absolutely free, the Chandos is a great pub and it will be a great night. There will be live music from my band, The False Dots and a great covers band, so it will be a lot of fun.

It has been a long difficult year for many people, however Christmas is nearly here so it is time to let our hair down and have some fun. It is also important to recognise those in our community who have made a difference.

Barnet Comedian of the Year
Barnet Band/Artist of the Year
Barnet Teacher of the Year
Barnet Restaurant of the Year
Barnet Event of the Year

We have spoken to various people in the community and have taken nominations. There are some great organisations. Please join us. The fun will kick off at 8pm. The gongs will be dished out at around 9.15pm. We also have a few friends coming down to play a bit of music for us so there may be some surprises!
