Reeeespectable ??

Best laugh I've had all week. Whilst I may not be "respectable", it is great to see  Lynne Hillan transform her Conservative group into a laughing stock.

I hope your many readers will join us at Hendon Town Hall on Tuesday 1 March at 6pm for the anti-cuts lobby (if they are that way inclined) and then in the public gallery from 7pm for the council meeting. At that, residents will attempt to film the meeting that will make important decisions about the fate of council services in Barnet.

I'll have copies for residents of local government minister Bob Neill's guidance to councils, "I want to highlight the importance of your council giving citizens the opportunity to access and experience their local democracy using modern communication methods."

That couldn't be clearer, could it? We will assert our newly won right to tweet, blog and film!
